This is the first time that a two-cylinder gasoline engine is being used in a car with single balancer shaft

Tata Nano is 1 lakh+12,500(VAT)+8000(Road tax)+4000+(Road Tax)+5000(Insurance)=1,28,000 (approx)
Autorickshaw: 0.9 lakhs is the base price + taxes+road tax+VAR= 1.15 (minimum)

the Nano can give a tough competition to the auto-rickshaw makers like Bajaj! the auto-rickshaws can be replaced by the car due to its competitive price n features…!

Bajaj company can add a wheel and sell its car with improvements in all weather protection for the four occupants and it will give a better km per litre than Nano as it is proven to give 35 Kms per litre as an autorickshaw (3 wheeler)on Indian roads.They have to price it 10% less than Nano to get more people interested by reducing their profit margin and more numbers can bring profit to the company.

Hope that tatas and bajaj will cash in on lucrative market of indian autorickshas with their ultra low priced cars.Public commuters will feel better in cars than in rickshaws and it will also reduce pollution in cities.Hope our roads will improve!!…

Once the performance enhancements and mods hit the market, the Nano will overshadow the Maruti 800…as well as all other in that category/price range…
