The Australia batsman claimed his side are fed up with the complaints about their on-field behaviour from India during the tourists’ trip down under.
On a Brisbane radio show, Hayden called Harbhajan an “obnoxious weed”.
And he also stated he liked the idea of challenging 19-year-old bowler Sharma to “get in the ring” for a fight.
Three India players, including Harbhajan and Sharma, have been found guilty of breaching the player’s code of conduct during a tempestuous tour.
“It’s been a bit of a long battle with Harbhajan. The first time I ever met him he was the same little obnoxious weed that he is now,” stated Hayden.
The BCCI were less than impressed with Hayden’s remarks and immediately protested to Cricket Australia.
“We condemn such comments by the Australian players,” said chief administrative officer Ratnakar Shetty.
“Our secretary has already communicated our feelings to Cricket Australia.
“We’ve advised our players to show restraint but, despite that, if such comments are being made it is really unfair.”
After a lot of drama that took place during the test series, the players are till not ready to accept that leaving peacfully is the best way.
Aggeression is good for the game, but if goes in excess, it spoils the spirit of the game.
Speak India says
This also could be a move by Mathew Hayden to get into the limelight, the way andrew symonds came and fetch a hefty sum of money.
Moreover, IPL has made people like Hayden into Rakhi sawant type character, who can go to any extent for publicity.
This recent comment by Hayden and that by ponting to Ishant sharma is just the first side effect of the IPL show.

SRINAGAR: From encounters to arrests, and now recovery of arms, fake actions have evolved as a standard fall-back system for showing consistent successes and disturbed conditions in the strife-torn state. The recent incident of CRPF jawans ‘finding’ a cache of arms from an isolated house at Teligarh Chinote in Bhaderwah hours before UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s visit to chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad’s hometown is just the latest case in point.
Police investigations indicate that arms were planted and later recovered by the CRPF. Reports said three persons have already been picked up and the investigations are in an advanced stage. SSP Doda Manohar Singh, who has a vast experience in counter-insurgency operations, is entrusted with the case.
On Friday, CRPF IGP J C Dabas confirmed to reporters in Jammu that their men had busted a militant hideout at Teligarh Chinote on Thursday evening. Apart from three kg of RDX, the cache included two Chinese grenades, a grenade launcher, two detonators, seven rounds of AK-47 riffle, four rounds of Pika Gun, a wireless set and a mobile phone charger. B S Dara, who commands 113 Battalion, has claimed to have led the operation. Read the rest of this entry »

Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss said public icons who passed off smoking on screens as ‘creative liberty’ should take a leaf out of the book of actors like Aamir Khan how to use the artistic tool.
“Look at Taare Zammen Pe”, he said, saying the film has helped in changing the mindset of thousands of teachers and parents in looking at the problem of dyslexia.
According to Ramadoss, increasing tobacco abuse by students was a growing matter of concern. The Indian component of the Global Youth Tobacco Survey indicated that nearly 10 per cent of Indian high school going students used tobacco products.
It just seems a war of egos now. The main cause of “No smoking” has been lost somewhere in the smoke.
Ramadoss had last month said Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan can learn a thing or two from superstar Rajinikant regarding smoking on screen. He had also said Khan should not have smoked in the stands while watching a cricket match in Mumbai.

Source Rediff.com: Like uncle, like nephew. This seems to be the case with Shiv Sena leader Raj Thackeray, when it comes to his fascination for German dictator Adolf Hitler.
While Bal Thackeray is on record saying that he is a fan of Hitler, Raj, who celebrated his 37th birthday on Monday, said that when it comes to organisational skills, there are a few who can rival the Nazi dictator’s abilities.”Leave aside his negative aspects like the barbaric annihilation of millions of Jews. There are several other things about Hitler, which any leader would envy,” Raj told reporters at his Dadar residence when asked if he too was a fan of Hitler like his uncle.”Hitler had everything. The one thing he did not have was the ambition to conquer the world,”(Well we thought he wanted to conquer the world) Raj said, adding, “you can draw whatever conclusions you want from my remarks.”
People like Raj Thackeray who are responsible for the violence and killing of many innocent people should not be imprisoned, they should be hanged. They are a threat to the sovereignty of the country. India is a united nation. Such people should be allowed to stay in this country.
A word to Raj: Remember what happened to Hitler. God never forgives those who do wrong things and commit crimes against humanity. History has been a witness. But we will also not allow you to do the damage, what Hitler did.
You deserve the Hall of Shame in the SPEAK INDIA community
