Shocked! Zor ka jhatka Zor se lagaa.
As if someone came from behind and burned their hopes of a victory in Delhi. Delhi’s election result has shocked me after congress getting a clear majority is all set for a third tenure, with the old lady Sheila Dixit, ready for a hatrick tenure. The mock polls held at my website and my prediction has actually gone thoroughly wrong.

Sheila Dixit smiling, BJP will have to rethink its strategy

The CBSE 2008 class Xth results create a lot of tension, mess and in the end it is just one screen with blue stripes that says it all. 12 months of hardwork, pressure and loads of inspirational remarks by teachers, parents and relatives. A class Xth student has to bare all this torture all for 5 marks, which will be asked again and again in the future. Some might need it for a minimum qualifying criteria and some might need it as an address proof… Read the complete article

CitiBank and their city mess up
An active speak India reader has contributed this story to us.
From the contributor,
I would like to inform you that I have been repeatedly harassed by some of the concerned officials of CITI Bank who seem to be adamant and ignorant of an Indian Oil petrol pump- IBP Auto services. I am shocked and amazed in disbelief that CITI Bank officials read IBP as Indian Bharat Petroleum and charge a transaction fee every time I get petrol filled from this petrol pump. The worst part is that people at the customer care refused to verify the facts and their behaviour was much to be desired.
Facts which the CITI Bank have overlooked
IBP merged with IndianOil
IBP was inducted as an IndianOil Group company in February 2002. In the past five years, both IndianOil and IBP worked jointly to exploit new and emerging opportunities in the market place, simultaneously focussing on optimisation of infrastructure and operations, and reduction in manpower costs.

A buoyant economy helped Railways Minister Lalu Prasad better most of his estimates for the current financial year with a record cash surplus, though the pragmatic politician from Bihar has budgeted for a slowdown in his 2008-09 targets in his fifth consecutive railway budget.
An eye to elections due 2009, however, saw Prasad announce a 5 per cent cut in freight rates on petrol and diesel and a token drop in fares for all classes of passengers.
“Bowing to the hopes and expectations of millions of people, I have decided to reduce passenger fares and freight rates this year,” Prasad said in a characteristically entertaining speech in Parliament.

1.Q: Are you nervous? Is this much bigger than the launch of Indica?
I think I was much more nervous during the launch of Indica because we had never been in car manufacturing before. We were venturing into a new segment. We are again venturing into a new segment but in a product line in which we have 10 years of experience now. Read the rest of this entry »
