Domestic violence

Youths throws acid on 17 year old girl in New Delhi

Domestic violence has considerably increased in past few months with most of the victims being women or children. Recently on the 27th December 2007 two unidentified youths threw acid on a 17 year old girl. Its shameful of such people to commit such a horrendous crime. You are affecting many lives. The life of the girl is obviously affected , her family is also getting affected. The stains of this attack will remain with her throughout her life.

I ask SPEAK INDIA readers

What should be done to such bastards?

My solution

They should be given life imprisonment.

I few months ago I read of a case in which a youth was sentenced to 10 yrs for throwing acid. Hopefully, all courts will begin to treat it as a serious crime.

  2. Poverty has a woman’s face. Global prosperity and peace will only be achieved once all the world’s people are empowered to order their own lives and provide for themselves and their families. Societies where women are more equal stand a much greater chance of achieving the Millennium Goals by 2015..
I think its high time we all individually or collectively Stand Up and Take some action
    Regarding this.

This will help all you people on this blog to do something along with the United Nations in your locality.
