Has a seat of Rajya Sabha member been wasted because of its allocation to Sachin Tendulkar? If the nation would hear when Sachin will talk, does he really need the platform of Rajya Sabha to talk? And, if Sachin Tendulkar will be actively pursuing cricket, wouldn’t it be great injustice to the Rajya Sabha seat that has been given to him?

Congratulations Tendulkar on becoming member of Rajya Sabha. I guess people like can do a lot to bring about a change not only in the field of cricket and other sports as well; but also change rather improvement in the relationship between countries of the region.

Predominance of one country over other countries is avoided and they should live in harmony, peace and respect for one another.

I think Mr. Sachin has the vision to influence and motivate others and not to be influenced by others not to mention their names. There is a lot of expectation from you; you made and break so many records in cricket and now you’re expected to set political records straight, unbiased, without any prejudice. You are expected to bring about positive changes in the region.

I don’t understand why you’re raising this question, it sounds like all Rajya Sabha members are great guys with Sachin being the odd one out! I guess it’s the other way around, isn’t it? Does the other members deserve to be there?
